1st place! You won!

Everything great. Made me think of "Drunken Masters", and Russia. very energetic, very transforming, very trancy-fancy, and also a bit classical. Everything balanced each other out great, and it sounded great. it felt a little weaker after 2:30, like you were kind of giving up. And the different fadeouts at the end were weird, and not good weird.

Tis' be the perfect trance for me. Awesome, awesome, and awesome. Hope to see you in the next project, as well!

Yust responds:

It felt a little weaker after 2:30 => this was voluntary, to make a variation on the 2nd drop where you hear my distorted synth instead of violin.
Thanks anyway for the 1st place!
Nice contest :D

It's a fine song, overall.

The solo was weak, but I guess that's because it's computer-made... I am more then willing to record all of the guitar on this (And I think that it would be heavily awesome if we finally team up and collab).

The chord progression felt like Pachalbel's "canon" at the beginning, and I thought you tried to do an arrangement of Canon rock, but at the 3rd chord i realized it's something different... And while it works, it's not remarkable or memorable in any way. It's just like... "Meh, D, A..."

Anyway. Good as a first thought, not a finished song.

loansindi responds:

Man, when I saw someone had written a review on this I was honestly surprised.

This was my very first 'real' compositional effort. I think I've lost the gp5, no less.

I haven't revisited this song in a long time, and I'm not sure I'll ever get around to it. Thanks for the review though.

Wasted Jam Sessions = win.

I can't give this a perfect score for obvious reasons, but it's cute for a jam session. only drums and one guitar though? I'd recommend making more friends XD

Nice job, guys.

Fajita responds:

actually there is a bass if you listen closely....haha just a shitty recording lol

Awesome.

Much better then the first one, which was good as well. I love how all the instruments are live, not computer made.

Gnarly action mate. Keep 'em coming.

Hyper-Shadow-Death responds:

Im glad you listened to both and recognized the improvements, thank you! Yea I feel the sound, tone and volume are all so much more authentic when you record the instruments played instead of clicking a button on a comp to generate em.

love that blues sound.

I liked this. It's groovy, not heavy on the ears, and gets the general idea across. I like how it turns more interesting (kind of tropical) at 0:50, and just develops naturally from there. The bass at 1:10 was a little "unconnected", and bothered me throughout the entire song. It's good that you took it off after a while. The Piano was a great idea.

In my opinion, the guitar plays soul\blues, and the rest of track is ambient. So take it off the Rock section. Blues or Ambient. You decide.

I have a question - What equipment did you use with the guitar? That blues sound drives me crazy. I can seriously murder someone to get that from my lame Amp :P

Also, if you're up to a collab, please PM me. We can do something awesome, like a guitar trade off or something.

PlayTheGame responds:

ill pm u all the info :)

Great song, and well done.

Really great. The only thing - the singing voice really bothered me. I just don't like such an effect on singing. Try to make it again with clean singing.

BotonyProduktions responds:

Yeah everyones hating that. Like i stated before, I'm just trying something new. Glad you Liked it. Thank you for the review.

Cool version.

Kinnd of unique and awesome version of this classic. Great use of the brass section.

You should check out my track "Black Panther", to hear a small, 2 guitars version of the pink panther theme.

DeltaClaw responds:

I listened, and the track gives a very unique sound to this classic theme. Well done, and thanks for reviewing my humble work (lol)

Awesome, like always.

Really great backing track, sounds like a jam session with a guitarist on vacation.

I'm gonna do the solo sometime soon, ain't gonna have time to touch my guitar till friday thou. Well, anyway, expect it soon enough.

sorohanro responds:

Thanks for review.

Has a really Spooky feeling to it.

I love it. Makes me think about cold and misted forests, or maybe army of dolls.

Spooky yummies. All it needs are some diminished chords, and better instrument sounds.

Rainfallen responds:

Thanks for the input!

Interesting visuals. They actually gave me an idea for a name, thank you!
What I liked about this is that it has a spooky and happy feeling at the same time... I didn't explicitly mean for it to turn out that way.

I will try to have a more distinguished piano and guitar sounds, and switch around the drums a little. I want to keep it a 'guitar and piano duet' though.

Thank you for the review and insight.

Thanks!

Another backing to track to improvise on in the internet! I'll use this a lot, probably. Thanks!

kensmalts responds:

cool glad you like it... I'll make some more and post them.

'Ello! I'm TheCoreMan. I'm the messenger of Pineapples upon earth. I can't begin to tell you how awesome Pineapples are, even not with the 71 characters I have remaining to this blurb. Check out my music. You've come all the way to my page, so come on.
